Revitalizing an American Favorite

We were tasked with building a strategy to revitalize a traditional brand with a long history and aging consumer base. Ultimately, we needed to realign Richardson Brands as a progressive company with timeless products that would be just as relevant today as they were over 100 years ago. 

Richardson Brands came to Alignkraft as the company was getting ready to introduce new products as well as expand its existing lines. With roots dating back to 1890, Richardson products such as GravyMaster™ and Beechies Gum have long been associated with traditional, wholesome American meals. This rich history however was being lostto newer generations who have might have some memories of seeing these items in their grandmother's cupboard but have not tasted these themselves. We proceeded to build a strategy that leveraged this authentic and wholesome Americana reputation and brought it into the 21st century.

We were challenged to build a brand from the ground up, capture funding and get a stronghold on market share within an emerging and rapidly changing industry.

This education technology start-up came to us ready with a vision, a product and a team - but no name. Alignkraft was brought in very early and created the company's eventual name, Verificient Technologies. From that point on we worked hand in hand with Verificient to develop crucial launch strategies, touching on everything from branding, positioning and messaging to pricing, product offerings and sales. 

Following the pace set by the rapidly changing online education industry, we followed an aggressive timeline to launch the Verificient brand and its flagship product Proctortrack with the goal of landing initial investment and to quickly acquire market share while the number of competitors was still low. Having no branding or marketing materials to start with, Alignkraft looked to industry research and analytical data to develop targeted strategies and introduce a new leader to the market.

We were challenged to build a strategy to realign their brand after a recent merger and to position EAFCU for acquisition. 

After acquiring another credit union, Education Alliance Federal Credit Union (EAFCU) started to face problems which commonly arise after mergers. For example, EAFCU's target audience and client profile changed as the acquired customer base of artists differed from their existing education market. Without effective strategies in place derived from understanding their customers needs, EAFCU saw their customer base decrease, despite having merged with the other credit union. EAFCU recognized a shift in strategy was crucial following this merger that reflected true value for its clients. The credit union had the ultimate goal of being acquired by a larger credit union and partnered with Alignkraft to realign all aspects of its business for growth and to position it for acquisition.

We faced the task of  a brand from the ground up within a landscape that had never seen a product like that which Hivalgo offered. 

Alignkraft partnered with Hivalgo in its infancy as the company was getting ready to introduce a brand new digital marketplace for trading speciality agricultural commodities which did not exist at the time. The product was not finished and the company did not yet have a client base, so we worked hand in hand with Hivalgo consulting on all aspects of business including messaging, positioning, marketing, sales and long-term strategy. The ultimate goal was to  position Hivalgo to capture its initial round of investment and customers.
